Learn 28 basic hoop techniques to begin your hoop dance journey. Great for children and adults to learn this beautiful movement art form.

Repertoire
Learn 5 different intricate excerpts of Jennifer Dennehy’s original choreography from various works which has been performed throughout the USA. Each excerpt will first be performed by Jennifer and her students. Then Jennifer will break down just the footwork and then just the hoop separately. After learning each piece separately we will combine them together. By the end of this video and with regular practice you will be able to successfully perform these segments of choreography.
Jennifer welcomes you to utilize this material in your own performances in your communities or with your hoop performance groups. A great way to begin or enhance your performance offerings.
The Creative Hoop Dance Experience:
Explorations
Looking to expand your flow within your hoop and find your unique style? Jennifer will guide you through 11 different creative hoop dance explorations that will challenge you to think and move beyond just hoop technique. Each exploration dives into one of the elements of dance: space, time or force. This course is perfect for all levels of hoop dancers from beginner to professional.
50% of proceeds from the sale of these courses benefit continued dance education programming for inner city youth in Erie, PA. Programs who benefit are St. Martin Early Learning Center and scholarship for students to attend Dafmark Dance Theater.
